Just a story im making for Creative Writing...
It was a late autumn day. The skies were clouded and the sun couldn't been seen. Two wolves sat at the waters edge, gazing upon the crystal waters. "'A great danger is upon us'? Is Skyfire trying to warn us?" The one large blue and black one asked. "I do not know, Alpha... If its true, what is she trying to tell us?" The Red one asked. "Redtail, go and fetch me Blazestorm... I must speak with him..." The Alpha said, turning from the water. "Of course." Redtail replied with a quick bow and ran off.
The young dark colored warrior was stalking up on a large rabbit. Almost... Now! He shot out from his hiding spot and tackled onto the rabbit, ending its life with a quick bite. Just a moment later, Redtail came trotting over to him. "Prince Blazestorm, Alpha Iceheart wishes to see you..." He said, panting. Blazestorm slowly nodded. "Alright. Where is he?" He asked. "Follow me." Redtail replied as he turned and began to run off. Blazestorm followed.
"Redtail, leave us." Iceheart said to the red beta as they arrived. Redtail nodded and walked off. "What do you want, dad?" Blazestorm asked in a bored and annoyed tone. "Blazestorm, I am Alpha. Even if you are my son, you should show more respect. Anyways, look into the water..." Iceheart said, pointing his muzzle to the water. Blazestorm trotted next to the water and looked inside. Blazestorm's family has been able to see what the great wolf god, Skyfire, has needed to say since the beginning of time. But, Blazestorm got a different power. The power to see the future in the great Skyfire's eyed. Terror flooded his mind at what he saw. Wolves battling in the area. Blazestorm saw him and all of the pack, battling to the death with another unknown pack. He noticed three dogs fighting next to him. One was a Border Collie with gorgeous blue eyes. Suddenly, everything vanished. "My son, what did you see?" Iceheart asked as he stepped closer to Blazestorm. "I-I saw our pack fighting... Against some new pack... Three dogs were fighting with us and-" He paused. "Everything went black..." He finished in a low tone. "What? But our lands have been peaceful since it has arose!" Iceheart replied, a slight pang of anger in his voice. "I don't know... But I'm going to find out... Dad, I'm going to travel to the Temple of Skyfire and see if I can find out if this is true." Blazestorm said. "What?! No! Its to dangerous!" Iceheart replied. "But dad, this could mean the end of the Ranpu Pack!" Blazestorm retorted loudly. Iceheart didn't reply. A moment later, he spoke. "Blazestorm, its to dangerous... Even with body guards-" Blazestorm cut him off. "No! I am going with or without your permission!" He yelled. Iceheart let out a long, and annoyed sigh. "Alright... Ill let you go..."
Blazestorm was in his den the next morning, gathering what he needed for the trip. A white male wolf stepped inside his den. "Blazestorm... Are you really leaving?" The wolf asked, sadness in his voice. "Yes... I have to go, Whitefang..." Blazestorm replied weakly. Whitefang's ears drooped. A moment later, his face brightened. "I know! I can come with you!" He said excitingly. "What?!" Blazestorm was surprised at is friend. "Come on! It'll be like the old times!" Whitefang said cheerfully as he nudged Blazestorm with his paw. Blazestorm blinked for a second, then shook his head. "It will be really dangerous... You know how many unknown creatures live on the path to the Temple of Skyfire..." He said. "Well then, it's probley safer with more wolves then." Whitefang laughed. Blazestorm sighed. He knew there wasnt any way to change Whitefang's mind. After he sents his mind to something, he wont stop till its over. "Fine. Go and gather your things you want to bring. We're leaving in a bit..." He said, his voice slightly annoyed. Whitefang nodded and ran out Blazestorm's den.
Blazestorm stood on the opening to the camp, waiting for Whitefang. "Oh Blazestorm... I will miss you!" His mother, Goldenleaf, called out to him as she came to him and nuzzled his cheek. "Yeah... Ill miss you too, mom..." Blazestorm answered as he gave her an affexianote lick. Just then, Whitefang trotted up, his younger brother at his heels. Whitefang turned to face his brother. "Now, you need to be strong for dad ok, Blackpaw?" The young black and white pup sat down and licked Whitefang. "Yes... I will!" He said, smiling. Whitefang turned to Blazestorm and Goldenleaf. Goldenleaf trotted next to Whitefang and gave him a lick. Whitefang's mother had been dead for 3 years now and Goldenleaf had almost taken him in under her wing. Goldenleaf turned and sat down by the other wolves. "Blazestorm..." A voice called. Blazestorm turned to see his father walking towards him. "Dad..." Blazestorm said quietly. Iceheart stopped in front of him. "Blazestorm. I have something to give you before you go." He said. "What is it?" Blazestorm asked. Iceheart lowered his head and picked up a small glass bottle with light blue liguid in it. "Blazestorm. This is a special bottle of magic. You can only use it once, but it will revive a dead soul." Iceheart said quietly into Blazestorm's ear so only he could hear. Blazestorm picked up the bottle and set it in the red bandanna around his neck with his things in it. Blazestorm had found the bandanna one day while he was playing with Whitefang. "Alright... We're all set!" Whitefang said as he turned and began to walk. Blazestorm gave his father's sholder a lick and ran after Whitefang. He paused a little ways away and looked back to the pack. He lifted his head and gave a short howling, showing that he will be back. Iceheart smiled to his son and nodded for him to go. A smile tugged at Blazestorm's lips as he turned and ran with Whitefang.
Whitefang and Blazestorm had traveled a long ways in the short time they had in the rest of the day. They were at a town and after 10 minutes of arguing, decided to sleep there for the night. "You sure this is a good idea...?" Whitefang asked. "Of course! Dont be such a scardy cat!" Blazestorm laughed. Whitefang have Blazestorm a annoyed look. "Look, we can stay in that old building up there..." Blazestorm said quickly as he noticed the large, ruined building ahead. The two wolves walked into the building. It was covered in dust a three couches lie in the room. "Lets get some sleep..." Whitefang said in a tired tone and he jumped and lied down on the couch. Blazestar nodded and jumped up on the other. The couch he was on faced the entrence to the building. Blazefang was just about to fall asleep when he herd pawsteps. He lifted his head and saw a shadow approching the entrence. "Whitefang, get up!" Blazestorm whispered to Whitefang. He didnt wake up. Blazestorm eyed the door warily. A large chocolate brown lab stepped insdie. His eyes were shut tight and scars lie on them. He must be blind... Following the lab, was a small scottie. "Hay! What do we have here?" The scottie growled as he faced Blazestorm. "Trespassers!" The lab growled as he joined his friend. "We arn't here for a fight! We just needed somewhere to sleep!" Blazestorm retorted as the two dogs eyed him. "There wolves!" The scottie snarled.
The lab was about to leap for Blazestorm when a beautiful voice came in... "Kase! Tanner! What are you two doing?" A lovely border collie stepped inside. Blazestorm's eyes widened as she gazed at the female. Just like in the vision! He remembered the vision he had in the water. The exact same border collie was standing right in front of him! And now that he noticed it, the other two dogs looked like the ones in his vision too. Blazestorm was to surprised to speak. That's when the lazt, tired voice of Whitefang came. "What's going on?" He asked. "What do you mean?! You wolves are trespassing!" Kase, the scottie, growled. The female dog stepped in. "Stop acting like this! What's gotten into you two?" She asked, her voice soft. "Sorry, Shira..." Tanner said as he sat down on his haunches. Yet, Kase still growled. "Dont mind him. Now, what are your names?" Shira asked in her kind and soft voice. "I... I..." Blazestorm was still to surprised to speak. Whitefang stood and stretched. "My name is Whitefang and his is Blazestorm..." He answered for them as he yawned. "Trespassers..." Kase growled quietly as he turned and walked up the stairs. "Well. My name is Shira, the blind lab over there is Tanner, and that grumpy old scottie is Kase." Shira introduced. "What are you two doing here?" She added. Blazestorm finally spoke. "We are on a journey..." He murmured. "A journey? To where?" Tanner asked. "To a templed called the Temple of Skyfire." Whitefang replied. "Temple of Skyfire? Never herd of it..." Tanner said, tilting his head. Blazestorm yawned. "Oh, we'll talk tomorrow! You two can sleep here if you like..." Shira said with a smile as she turned and walked up the stairs. Tanner nodded and followed Shira. "Whitefang... There the ones I saw in my vision!" He whispered urgently to his friend. "Blazestorm... Talk tomorrow..." Whitefang replied weakly as he set his head back on his paws. Blazestorm sighed and also lowered his head. They both fell asleep.
The next morning, Blazestorm was awoken as a bang reached his ears. "What happened?!" He said frantically. Whitefang was also just waking. "What?" He said. Just then, Shira appeared down the stairs. "Good morning!" She said to the two. Blazestorm stood and stretched, Whitefang doing the same.
